What’s the difference between commercial and residential windows?
Residential windows always come with timber reveals, making installation simple for plasterboard walls. Commercial frames, however, can be installed as a bare frame, allowing plaster reveals for a sleek finish. Commercial profiles are also larger and stronger, suited for heavy-duty projects, while residential profiles are slimmer for homes.
How are your windows waterproof?
Commercial frames use subsills that drain water through external holes, directing it outside. Residential frames instead drain water through slots in the sill. Both systems are comprehensively designed to manage water effectively and prevent it from getting inside.
What’s better, sliding doors or bi-fold doors?
Sliding doors are generally the better option. They’re smoother to operate, allow larger uninterrupted glass panels, and require less maintenance compared to bi-folds.
